Hockey athletes that want to work on the skills of hockey, speed for all sports, and strength and power should look into our new “ELITE 8” athletic development program. Athletes will spend 32 hours over the off-season

becoming a BETTER ATHLETE as well as a better hockey player. Complete the program by November 1.

What players get with the ELITE 8 program:

Schedule one each per week.

8 Stickhandling/shooting sessions
Puck control and scoring goals.

8 Sprint Training sessions
Sprint mechanics and speed development. (Players can choose to do skating treadmill instead of running treadmill.)

8 Treadmill Skating sessions
Skate stride development and conditioning. (Athletes may also choose to do 16 sessions on either the running treadmill or the skating treadmill instead of doing 8 sessions of each.)

8 Ground-based Strength & Conditioning sessions
Foot speed, balance, agility, and full body strength. (If athletes want 8 hours of Stickhandling/Shooting and 24 hours of Ground-based Strength & Conditioning, this can be arranged.)

 

Scheduling:

Schedule 1, 2-hour block once a week for 16 weeks OR Schedule 2, 2-hour blocks twice a week for 8 weeks

Hours:

9am – 9pm, Monday through Friday
